As a Danish designer for more than 35 years, she carries her childhood memories with her - from her mother's homemade Christmas decorations to the magical December evenings when the lights were lit one by one, while the elves kept watch from their cozy corners.

"In my childhood, my mother Sonja always made Christmas something very special," Etly tells. "She decorated beautifully and made homemade Christmas decorations with candles, spruce, and natural ornaments. It was these moments that created the true Christmas magic." This love for Christmas traditions and especially the warmth of the lights permeates every single one of Etlys designs.
