From childhood fascination to life work
Etly Klarborg's passion for Elfs began already in childhood, where she found joy in shaping small figures. As a 4-year-old she created her first Elf of peat wool - an experience that laid the foundation of a lifelong love for characters with soul and personality. With a creative mind and a penchant for detail, she continued to create, and slowly grew a dream of sharing her world with others.
The founding of Klarborg
In 1986, the dream really took shape when Etly Klarborg opened its first store in North Jutland. Her handmade Elfs And figures quickly attracted attention with their warm expressions and unique designs. From a small shop grew Klarborg-The universe steadily, driven by a passion for Danish craftsmanship, traditions and the special Christmas celebration that her characters convey. For more than 35 years, the clearborgns have been a regular part of the Danes' Christmas traditions. With more than 400 unique designs, they have found their way to the hearts of countless homes, creating joy year after year. Klarborg has become synonymous with real Danish Christmas celebration - a tradition that is inherited from generation to generation.
